ShujaazFM's Titus Twist in The Economist

On 15th December 2011 ShujaazFM, one of Twaweza’s partners in Kenya, appeared in the ‘Economist’ magazine. ShujaazFM is a print and radio initiative that produces over 600,000 comics every month and reaches out through 17 local radios stations every day to discuss issues that are affecting Kenyan youth. Through the experiences of the new character Titus Twist (inspired by Oliver Twist), ShujaazFM wants to give viewers, readers, listeners and fans ideas for living successfully in Kenya today. ShujaazFM has reached up to 20million Kenyan youth in less than two years. Read more.
