Education starts at home

The wait is over for 2011 Form Four students, with exam results released earlier this week. Of the 426,314 students who wrote the Form Four exams across Tanzania, 53.37% passed, according to The Citizen newspaper. It’s a slight increase from 2010 when 50.74% of students passed. Following the release of the results, education stakeholders called on parents to engage with their children on what they are learning in the classroom in a bid to improve performance.
